Gosford Murals and a trip to Avoca Beach, on the Central Coast of NSW

Today we went to Gosford, a small city about 80 kms. north of Sydney and then off to Avoca Beach on the Pacific Ocean.  I was quite taken by the murals which appear in an alley in downtown Gosford.  Here are some pictures of a few of them.  They were all done with tiles.

Then we drove to Avoca Beach, which is located on the Pacific.  People were surfing, enjoying the summer sun.  Truly a beautiful place to be.

Tomorrow we are off to Sydney to explore the city and enjoy the sights, sounds, and colours of Mardi Gras.
