I will post more photos another day.  Today was a lazy day.  Spent four hours on the beach.  Even though I lathered on suntan lotion, I got quite burnt.  Came home to see a tiny lizard in my hammock- how rude.  Then a cockatoo came to visit.  He sat on the rail of our cabin for 10 minutes.  He was so gorgeous.  Then walking to the shuttle bus, we ran across a kangaroo.  So amazing to see him hop.  Tomorrow we are off to snorkel the great barrier reef.
