Today we went to the Rocks, where the oldest buildings in Sydney exist. One of the oldest buildings we found was a pub dated from 1828. The Rocks with its narrow winding streets reminded me of a quaint European village.
Then we went on an ocean journey (actually a 40 minute ferry ride) to Manly. Got to see the magnificence of Sydney Harbour and its many coves. No wonder it is called the best Harbour in the world. Ate at the Manly Grill- I said after we finished, "Manly yes, but I like it too." Watched the surfers at Manly Beach. No that is not me on a surfboard.
You're right. It looks much like a small European town. Wonderful pictures. Weather looks a little wet and grey but still better than in Toronto. Wish it was a "chilly" 23C here - LOL I posted the picture of you and your nephew on the church bulletin board, alongside some blogs and your postcard. How's your foot?
