Greetings.  Had a good flight to Australia.  Arrived on Friday morning after a 22 hour flight including an hour and a half stop in Vancouver.  During the flight I imagined the lines that I crossed.  The tropic of cancer and the equator I have crossed before.  New to me was the International Dateline and the tropic of capricorn.  It made me think, what real and imaginary boundaries do we cross each day.

Here are a few photos taken in the Sydney area.  The top photo is of the Sydney Harbour Bridge or the coat hanger as she is known to locals.  The middle photo is on a train journey up to Watanobbi where I stayed for a few days  The picture is of a tidal waterway near the city of Woy Woy.  The bottom picture is of me at Sydney Harbour with the famous opera house in the background

I wil post a few more Sydney photos tomorrow although I am leaving the city tomorrow and going up to Hamilton Island along the Great Barrier Reef.

  1. Nice pics. Looks like you are having a great time. I showed your picture to the kids today and they loved your tee. Derek wanted to know if you found Nemo at the Great Barrier Reef.
